Time Delay Relays
Designed for easy installation on AC condenser units, the Time Delay Relay allows two HVAC systems to be controlled alternately. It operates in a range between 8–240VAC.
The relay is similar to the SACM and delays the startup of one AC condenser units at a time. Only one AC condenser unit will operate while the other unit is locked out to lower demand on the overall electrical system or backup generator during utility outages. One AC condenser unit will start while the other waits for the delay period to end at which point the other AC condenser unit can start.
The adjustable time delay can be set between 10 – 1,000 seconds.
